Well I love blogging with my girlfriends and also following The Gour family blog so I've decided to start one about our family as well. Seeing Liz start one for her family was a little extra inspiration. I certainly take enough pictures of Hannah so I should have plenty to post and I'm pretty sure I could talk about Hannah all day long so here is the perfect forum. :-)
So for the first day I'll let you in on our Friday routine. Friday is the only day of the week when we don't have preschool or therapy (at least until 2 weeks from now). So on Fridays Hannah gets to pick out whatever she wants to wear (during the summer she likes to hang in just her panties, and during the winter it is frequently an adorable mismatched outfit) We like to cuddle in bed in the morning and play hide and seek. We usually have a late breakfast and then just have a leisurely day doing some yoga, projects, bike rides, and puzzles. Right now she is learning how to do color by number. Her other favorite project is to make scrapbooks. She has already started a scrapbook for my birthday (in August). She is very on top of things, much better than her mother about procrastinating. Other than scrapbooking her favorite activity at the time is completing her puzzles. She has a big US puzzle and has already learned where half the states go. (Nate and I LOVE doing puzzles and currently are working on a very difficult one during any spare time in the evenings. Hannah loves to come in the room in the morning and say "Oh mom, you've made a lot of progress, good job." She is so encouraging) She is a very determined little girl and so very smart.
I'll take some pictures of her doing yoga and post them because Hannah really enjoyed seeing pictures of Claire doing her therapy. We usually do airplane just on the floor and she really wanted to try it on the ball having seen Claire do it.
Hannah just told me that she wants to have a purple princess skirt for her wedding dress. "They might not put that on me but that's what I'm planning on wearing" I'm not sure where this stuff comes from but she always cracks me up.
Well now I need to get back to doing some scrapbooking.
