Circus

We went to the shrine circus a couple weeks ago and Hannah got to ride on her elephant. She was very excited about that and the cotton candy. She really enjoyed watching everything going on. Some parts of it bored her a little bit but for the most part she paid close attention. Watching the tigers get whipped was not fun to watch as an adult and I wasn't too sad Hannah didn't pay it much attention.

Watching the trapezee artists.

She is very intently watching. When they fell she got all tense, it was cute.

Here we are enjoying some cotton candy. It wasn't quite as good as I remembered from childhood. I don't think I like pure sugar quite as much as I used to.

Here they are finally riding the elephant. We didn't get to it until intermission so the whole first half of the circus she kept asking when she was going to get to ride the elephant. Patience must come at a later age ;-)

One of the clowns.
We were happy to support the shriners since they do such great work. Please pray that they don't close the hospital here in Greenville - that is currently the plan and it would be really sad for a lot of families it serves (including us!).
