The wedding

Hannah woke up the other morning in a great mood as usual. She went into her room to play and a few minutes later came out all decked out in her very best jewelry. She announced that she had a wedding to go to. When I asked whose wedding she said that she and bear were getting married. Well we talked to her Dad about it over lunch and he suggested that she marry a man when she gets older that is just really hairy and call him bear. She thought it was humorous but we all know that her true love is bear and the girl would not be persuaded. The wedding occured in the afternoon. (we'll be registering in a few days so we'll keep you updated on the choice between BB&Beyond and Target) I asked her if it was time for the wedding and she excitedly said yes and walked out of the room. She came back in moments later saying "I'm looking for a husband, where can one be?" She saw bear and sat down next to him and well that was about it.

Of course, Hannah new it was just pretend. After she got up she said now you marry bear. I reminded her that I was married to Dad and she said "I know, just for pretend" I passed but it was a funny thing. I'm not sure where she comes up with some of her ideas but I love seeing that she has such an active imagination. She would glady play pretend all day long. All we needed was some jewelry and a bear and we were entertained for quite awhile.
