We went down to charleston a few weeks ago and got to spend the day with Uncle Nathan, Uncle Caleb and Aunt Katie. We headed over to Nathan's place for a birthday party for the little girl he babysits. It was a great party! There were lots of kids running around having fun, hula hoops, yummy food, a three legged race, singing and dancing, and even a tap performance by a clown. Hannah really enjoyed herself but I don't know who had more fun because the "adults" really enjoyed the hula hoops.
Hannah was happy she was finally able to give Uncle Nathan his Christmas present. She bought him gloves for working in the yard- his present was the one with the most thought on her part. Very special.
Hannah had a great time dancing on the tap board the clown used for her show. She was ready to be the entertainer especially after she discovered the harmonica- her new favorite instrument.
After the party we headed out to see the Angel Oak just down the road. It is huge!! We all considered coming back that night, jumping the fence, and climbing it but we decided to be good citizens. Oh to be a kid 200 years ago before the tree was all locked up. Well I guess I would prefer indoor plumbing to climbing a tree ;-) We were all pretty happy to be spending the day together. gotta love family
We love Angel Oak too....and the boys so want to climb in it!!
