time for the dentist... blah

Hannah hates going to the dentist! She didn't like it when she was almost 3 or 6 months later or a month ago. We went for an appointment and we weren't even able to get her in the seat before she started balling and getting so upset. This was a new dentist to her so I had been hopeful (the last one wanted to strap her down so we never went back). The ladies were super nice and we made another appt. We thought that if she saw me get my teeth cleaned then she wouldn't be so scared. (She does much better when she knows what to expect from a situation-as we all do) To make sure the visit would be a success, Nate made a deal with her: If she was good at the dentist and let them clean her teeth then he would feed her a bowl of ice cream while she took a bubble bath. (We don't usually bribe her but I was getting paranoid her teeth were going to fall out from not getting cleaned at all-there are def good times to bribe your kids. :-) ) She freaked out when he told her because she was soooo excited. Well, all of our steps worked and Hannah let the lady clean her teeth-they looked good and they didn't see any decay so we headed home and she waited anxiously to get them completely filthy with ice cream.
